Due to forecasted low temperatures which will cause refreezing on secondary roads, Person County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14th for all staff and students. Please stay safe and warm.

Due to the forecasted winter weather, Person County Schools will release early on Friday, January 10th. Elementary and high schools will release at 12:45 pm and middle schools will release at 1:00 pm. There will be no daycare or any other after school activities.

To ensure the safety of all of our bus riders and routes that begin well before daylight, Person County Schools will be on a two-hour delay, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7th for all students and staff.

Due to the Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service and the posssibilty of hazardous road conditions, Person County Schools will be closed for students Monday, January 6th. Staff will operate under a Remote Workday and will receive more information from administrators. Stay safe and warm.
