Person County Schools is actively developing the PCS2030 Strategic Plan, a roadmap that will guide our district over the next four years.

This spring, we hosted a series of “Kitchen Table” strategic planning sessions across the district, bringing together students, families, staff, and community members to share their perspectives and experiences. These conversations provided valuable insight into what is working well, where we can grow, and how we can better support every student.

Participants engaged in thoughtful discussions around four key areas: teaching and learning, student well-being and safety, family and community engagement, and system resources. Their feedback is helping us identify priorities, uncover common themes, and shape the direction of our next strategic plan.

We are now in the process of analyzing this input and working with district and school leadership to develop clear goals, strategies, and action steps aligned to the needs of our students and community.

We are grateful to everyone who has contributed their time and voice to this process. Your input is essential as we continue building a strong future for Person County Schools.
