Person High School 2025–2026: "Launching to Success"
Person High School is excited to welcome students and families to the upcoming school year with two special events scheduled for Wednesday, August 13.
🔹 Freshman Orientation
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This event is specifically for incoming 9th grade students. It’s a great opportunity for freshmen to get acclimated to their new school environment. Parents are invited to join their students at 1:00 PM for a tour of the building and the chance to meet teachers.
🔹 Open House
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Open House is for all students and their families. There will be two parent information sessions held in the cafeteria at 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. This event provides families with a chance to explore the school, meet staff, and prepare for the upcoming academic year.
Person High School looks forward to a strong start to the year by connecting with students and families during these exciting and informative events. Let's get ready to launch into success!

Parental involvement and education are crucial when it comes to preventing substance use among our youth. Person County Schools invites you to an experience that will provide parents with the tools they need to take a proactive approach in discussing the dangers of substance use with their children, as well as recognize signs of risky behavior. Preventing substance use starts at home. Don’t miss the opportunity to gain this vital knowledge!

Due to some snow covered rural roads that are traveled by buses, there will be no school for students on Friday, February 21st. Staff will report on a two-hour delay.
