Elementary language immersion starts in kindergarten and continues through the fifth grade. Not only will children be proficient in Spanish at the end of elementary school, they will also be fully prepared to succeed in a traditional non-immersion classroom. In fact, research indicates that children who acquire a second language are better able to problem-solve and think creatively.
