Due to forecasted low temperatures which will cause refreezing on secondary roads, Person County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14th for all staff and students. Please stay safe and warm.

By now, you should have received a call from Person County Schools that tomorrow, January 13th is a remote learning day for students. Students in all grades should check Google Classroom for assignments. PCC students should check their email for updates.
This Friday is the end of the second quarter and first semester. Any missing assignments for quarter two should be turned in this week. Semester-long courses will conclude on Friday
School is closed next Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, followed by a workday on the 21st for teachers to finalize grades and prepare for the beginning of second semester. When students return on the 22nd, they will be report to their second semester courses.

PCSVA classes will follow their regular schedule on Friday, January 10, 2025 . If there are any changes to class times to be online, then they will be posted by teachers. Please refer to Google Classroom for updates and additional information. We hope all students and families stay safe and warm!

Due to the forecasted winter weather, Person County Schools will release early on Friday, January 10th. Elementary and high schools will release at 12:45 pm and middle schools will release at 1:00 pm. There will be no daycare or any other after school activities.

To ensure the safety of all of our bus riders and routes that begin well before daylight, Person County Schools will be on a two-hour delay, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7th for all students and staff.
