It's National School Bus Safety Week! Safety doesn't begin or end with the bus ride. It's about safety at every stop!
Please remember these two important safety tips:
Stay Alert: Slow down in school zones and neighborhoods.
Stop for the Bus: Obey the stop-arm law every time.
Thank you for all that you do to help keep all PCS students safe from the time they leave home in the morning until they return in the afternoon!

We look forward to seeing you TONIGHT for our PCSVA Open House! Middle school students will begin at 5:30pm and high school students will begin at 6:30pm. We will be meeting in the Media Center of Person High School (1010 Ridge Rd). Doors will open 10 minutes prior to the start of each session. You may park in the upper lot of the front of the school or the gym side student upper lot. Everyone should enter through the Main Entrance.
Reminder- a $25.00 laptop fee is required for all students. Please pay this fee online in advance to save time this evening. Students who are unable to attend tonight will be notified of the pickup date/time/location to receive their materials and laptop. See you soon!

It's almost time for Back to School! We are so excited to meet with you all in person this week and look forward to welcoming students on Monday, Aug 18 for the first day of school! As a reminder, our Open House will be held in the PHS Media Center on Thurs. August 7. Middle school students 5:30pm and high school students at 6:30pm. Save the Date! Open House is next Thursday, August 7, 2025. Middle School students meet from 5:30-6:30pm and High School students meet from 6:30-7:30pm. PCS Virtual Academy is located on the 3rd floor of Person High School (1010 Ridge Road). For Open House, we will be in the Media Center of PHS. PCSVA students and families will enter through the Main Entrance of Person High School. Doors will open approximately 10 minutes prior to the start of the Open House times. Students will have the opportunity to check out their laptops, receive their schedules, and meet their teachers. We will also have a presentation with information about our policies and procedures for the coming school year. Pay your student laptop fee in advance online through the payment portal.
