Joshua Harris Participates in the Shrine Bowl and Signs National Letter of Intent to NC State

Joshua Harris, current Person High School senior, played in the 82nd Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas on December 15. The Shrine Bowl is the oldest high school football all-star game in the nation. The game features many of the top high school players from North and South Carolina. Harris, #51, is a defensive lineman and was one of the 4 captains for the North Carolina Team. Charles Power, with 24/7 sports, wrote the following regarding Harris's performance in the game. "Harris was the most disruptive defensive lineman for either team, blowing up several plays in both inside and team drills, capping off the day with a sack. The N.C. State commitment’s strength at the point of attack was too much for most of the North Carolina offensive linemen. A pure nose tackle prospect, Harris looks to be the heaviest defensive lineman in attendance and should benefit from a strength and conditioning program at the next level. With that said, his strength and first-step quickness were undeniable on Tuesday."
