    8/18/2020 Email Update

I have a collection of access codes for CCP students that are enrolled in classes that need an access code. You will need to sign for it so please let me know (email) if you can stop by my PCC office this week in L127! If you are unsure if you need an access code please email me as well and I can check if I have one for you!

If you need a paper copy book (not an access code, I have those) they should be in the LRC on PCC's campus to check out. Please go to the lower level circulation desk and if you have a PCC student Id (from last year) you can use that to check out your book. If you do not have a student Id, they will create a library card for you. Please explain you are a CCP high school student when you go!

Please plan to go between 8:30-4PM!

If for some reason they do not have the book available, please contact me!! Most books should be available to check out by Thursday, August 20th!

Also please remember to sign up for my REMIND link app for texting!!

8/16/20 Email & Rocket Dispatch Update

    Hello CCP students and Families!

Please review the PowerPoint below from the CCP Orientations from last week!

     Orientation PowerPoint

PCC classes start Monday, August 17th!!

All face to face Mon./Tues. or Thurs./Friday groups should report to your PCC class based on the Mon./Tues or Thurs./Friday course time on your PCC schedule. For example:  If you are attending Person High on Mondays and Tuesdays and you have English at PCC on Mondays from 8:05 -9:18am and Public Speaking on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:05 - 9:18am- you should attend your PCC English course on Mondays at 8:05am and your Public Speaking on Tuesdays. On Thursdays, you would Zoom into your Public Speaking class at 8:05-9:18am from home.  If your PCC class only meets on Wednesdays, then you should Zoom in on Wednesdays at the scheduled time from home. The exceptions to the above scenario includes the following PCC courses Cosmetology, Welding, and Gaming who will attend PCC Monday - Thursday. Mechatronics will meet on the PCC campus on Tuesdays and Thursday. Fire Safety is also an exception and will meet on the Person High campus in room 135 on Mon., Tues., Thurs. and Friday but will meet at PCC on Wednesdays in Building D room 120.

If you signed up to be a virtual student at Person High then you are to log in via Zoom to your PCC courses based on your PCC schedule (which I emailed to you). Your PCC instructor will either send your login information to your PCC email or place it in your Blackboard shell.

If you have an online course at PCC and it will be reflected on your PCC registration that the course is online you will log onto

Blackboard for course information. Please review the Orientation PowerPoint if you need clarity. If not please contact me with your questions.

All Welding, Cosmetology, Medical Assisting, Fire Safety and Gaming students should report to your PCC class on Monday 8/17 at the scheduled time and place. Your PCC registration may indicate that you start class on Tuesday, August 18th but this date had to be changed to meet the required course hours to obtain credit.

Reminders! CosmetologyWelding, Fire Safety students are the only ones able to come to the PCC campus for classes on Wednesdays! Everyone else will attend their class (if they have a Wednesday class) virtually through Zoom!

For extra announcements through texts please sign up through Remind with me with the link below! ALL STUDENTS MUST SIGN UP!
