    While students are learning from home, PHS has put a few things in place to make sure that the lines of communication stay open between home and school.  

     
Rocket Dispatch

  • The Rocket Dispatch is Person High School's weekly announcements that come out every Sunday evening through email, phone, PHS website, and Facebook.  Click HERE for all of the announcements that have been sent out this year.

  • Remind

    Some students and parents are already receiving Remind messages from PHS teachers that have alrready been using this program.  In light of need for ongoing distance learning, all PHS teachers have been asked to create Remind classes and to communicate twice a week with students via this program. Remind Codes for all PHS classes can be found in this document.

  • meet

    Every VIRTUAL course offered at PHS has a time when students are expected to sign on to a Google Meet for a synchronous (LIVE) class.  Additionally, every course offered (seated) at PHS has office hours that are run using Google Hangouts.  To access Google Hangouts, students simply have to click on the link to the appropriate course office hours located in this document. All students are expected to comply with the Google Hangouts Acceptable Use Policy found HERE.

  • Parent/Teacher Conferences

    During this time, we highly encourage parents and teachers to remain in close contact for the benefit of each students' academic success.  Any parent that desires to have a conference with their child's teacher may reach out to the teacher through remind or email in order to set up a time to either video- or phone-conference.
