Employee Recognition Program
The Person County School district is proud to have dedicated staff members and we want to recognize the outstanding service of these individuals. The STAR program was created to recognize employees for being selfless, working as and among a team, taking action, and achieving results. This program embodies the same principles that PCS searches for in all employees. During the year, PCS will recognize 4 employees from 2 sites at each board meeting. Schools will be assigned the months in which employees from that site are being nominated. The information below will help to provide a better visual for what our new STAR program is all about. For more information or questions e-mail the Rewards & Recognition committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Access your Continuing Education Employee History information from the school network. This will allow you to see what is currently on file with Central Services with respect to your demographic information and renewal credits.
All new employees are required to have a physical, including a TB test, within the first 60 days of employment. The Health Exam Requirement Form is provided during the new hire sign-up appointment.
In case of school cancellation or early dismissal due to inclement weather, it is important that all staff members clearly understand the options related to the work day. For detailed information visit the inclement weather page.
