Below you will find the immunization requirements that will impact rising Kindergarten, 7th grade, and 12th grade students. These documents list what immunizations are required upon entry to these grades. The Person County Health Department strongly encourages you to beat the rush on getting your child vaccinated (if this applies to your child). To schedule an appointment to get your child vaccinated, contact the Health Department (336-597-2204) or your health care provider.
You will have 30 calendar days from the first day of school to provide the required up-to-date vaccination record for your child. If proof of vaccination is not provided by the end of the 30 calendar day period, your child will be suspended from school until they provide proof of vaccination as required by law.
